Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training is a rehabilitation intervention and performance-enhancing tool that has shown potential to rapidly improve exercise and rehabilitation paradigms. Hundreds of peer-reviewed published literature substantiates the validity, mechanism(s), efficacy and safety of using BFR systems. By intermittently restricting blood flow during exercise, findings demonstrate significant and substantial gains in strength, muscle hypertrophy, injury recovery and endurance – often within abbreviated timetables from traditional training or rehab.
